History

Beauty Filled Women's Empowerment came to life when Carmen Tirado Rodriguez, Activities Director for UHCW was approached about putting together an event which included finding resources that would show case the beauty in all women. Although that was short lived Carmen was not about to give up that easily and chose to make it about issues that REAL WOMEN experience and undertake. Remembering the words of her Confidant/friend & mothers in law told her.

Our Goal is to bring together women from all back grounds, religious beliefs and economic status, to share stories, build relationships, Teacher, Motivate, Guide, Assist, Inspire, Trust, and learn to Respect each other, because in the long run though we probably have all forgotten, we all are "BEAUTY FILLED EMPOWERED WOMEN"
